PRTKD ATTENDS 2ND CTFI ONLINE UMPIRE COURSE

PRTKD Instrutors attended the 2nd (Virtual/Hybrid) National Umpire certification course on Saturday February 6th. Over 114 members ( Red Belt to 7th Dan) across British Columbia to Nova Scotia participated in the 8-hour course conducted by the CTFI Umpire Committee led by Mr. Grant Arden (AB), Director of Umpires . Ms. Brandi Merritt (AB), Mr. Chris Law ( BC) and Mr. Maxime Lavoie (QC)
The course covered the role, process and procedures for umpiring at the International and National level as well reviewed the 2022 updates to the ITF rules in preparation for the World Championships in Tampere Finland.
