____Parallel Stance (Narani Sogi): One shoulder width from foot sword to foot sword

____Walking Stance (Gunnan Sogi): Length: 1 & ½ shoulder long from front big toe to rear big toe. Width: 1 shoulder width from center of the insteps. Weight distribution is 50% on each leg. The back foot is angled 25 degrees and the front foot faces forward.

____Sitting Stance (Annun Sogi): 1 & ½  shoulder widths from big toe to big toe. Weight distribution is 50% on each leg.

____ 3 Step Sparring Alone: (1 through 6: start from left walking stance, low outer forearm block)

​

1. Attack:         3 steps forward in walking stance executing obverse middle punch

​

2.  Defense:      3 steps backward in walking stance executing inner forearm middle side

                              block. The blocking tool is focused toward the center of the defenders shoulders

​

1. Attack:          3 steps forward in walking stance executing low front snap kick. (Landing  in walking ready stance after each kick)

​

4.  Defense:       3 steps backward in walking stance executing low knife hand block

​

5.  Attack:          3 steps forward in walking stance executing middle side piercing kick

​

6.  Defense:       3 steps backward in walking stance executing middle outer forearm inward  front block. The blocking tool stays at the center of the defender’s body
